About Us
Robert Mann Packaging was founded in May of 1971 as a supplier of shipping containers for the fresh flower and living plant industry. Since that time, hundreds of products have been added to produce an extensive line of stock, custom paper and plastic packaging products.
RMP began as a warehouse distributor of packaging products, and has developed into a full-fledged manufacturer of corrugated packaging at the company’s 300,000 square foot facility in Salinas, CA.
RMP has grown from a two-person operation in 1971 to its present size of more than 250 employees. There are now facilities located in Gilroy, Watsonville, Moss Landing, Salinas, Guadalupe, Santa Maria, Oxnard #1 & #2 and Oceanside, California to service your needs. RMP also provides sales and distribution in Brawley, California and Yuma, Arizona on a seasonal basis.
RMP’s product lines include produce boxes, bulk bins and related flexible and rigid plastic items for the produce industry. In addition, RMP stocks flower and plant boxes, buckets, paper plant sleeves, plastic flower sleeves and many other items for the floral and nursery industry. RMP also has a complete line of both corrugated trays and plastic clamshells for the strawberry industry, along with supporting set-up capabilities throughout California.
